Yarn Bowls out of LPs

A member of a craft group I belong to mentioned seeing yarn bowls made from LPs, you know like the fruit bowls EVERYONE had in the 80s, and that sparked my creativity. Well, along came Crochet Widower and his shopping tendencies and he bought 6 LPs for 80p, wooo hoooo.

and pop it in the oven (medium heat) for about three min (I washed the dishes while I waited)

This is the yarn bowl bit, peg one pleat (fold??) closed leaving a gap for the yarn to travel through while the LP cools, also this is when you do a little shaping (like 20 years ago, yes the 80s were 20 years ago, and they will be for at least another 20 years).

Poke the yarn through the pegged fold (pleat???) and there you have it organised yarn for making those granny squares.
