This cosy sweater is top down construction, the sleeves are joined as you go as is the cowl, there is minimal seaming along the sides. The cowl is large enough to use has a hood and has a soft, warm feel.

XS 1200 m

S 1360 m

M 1500 m

L 1600 m

XL 1700 m

2XL 1780 m

3XL 1850 m

6mm hook
darning needle

INC= Increases
DEC= Decreases
3 SC/DC together
FSC/FDC= Foundation stitches 

 

The model in purple is 5ft 2″ and a size XL

The model in red is 5ft 8″ and a size M

13 SC/DC and 15 rows = 4 inches

  1. I haven’t crocheted in a few years and have never done a garment. Thought I could tackle this one but I am a bit confused on the pattern.

      • If I figure out the first line I will have it I think. I have never seen a pattern written like this. So where it says chain (42, 51, 51, 57, 57, 69, 84) is that congruent with size: (XS, S/M, L/XL, 2X, 3X)? So I want to make the XL so that means I chain 57?
